Rufat Abas

IT – Mi chiamo Rufat Abas e sono uno fotografo sia di studio che di street photography, provengo da Baku, Azerbaigian.La mia vita in fotografia è iniziata con una vecchia macchina fotografica russa “Смена” (Smena) quando ero un ragazzo di scuola.

Con il passare degli anni la fotografia è diventata qualcosa di più di un semplice hobby. Preferisco i generi di arte e fotografia di strada. Mi piace fotografare le persone, le loro emozioni e sentimenti indipendentemente dalla loro età, sesso, razza e status sociale. Ho partecipato a varie mostre fotografiche e concorsi in Azerbaigian e all’estero.

Ho pubblicato il mio primo libro di fotografia “La vita in bianco e nero” nel 2012 e ho avuto la mia personale mostra di fotografia di strada “Street, Light, Emotion” nel 2013. Nel 2015 ho ricevuto il premio “Photographer of the Year – 2015” da Azerbaijan Photographers Union .

Sono anche coinvolto in attività di formazione e tutoraggio e fornendo seminari e seminari fotografici presso la scuola di fotografia internazionale di partenariato orientale.

EN – My name is Rufat Abas and I am a studio and street photographer from Baku, Azerbaijan. My life in photography began with an old russian camera “Смена” (Smena) when I was a school boy.

With years passed photography became something more than just a hobby. I prefer the art and street photography genres. I like to photograph people, their emotions and feelings no matter of their age, gender, race and social status. I have been participating in various photography exhibitions and competitions in Azerbaijan and abroad.

I published my first photography book “Life in black and white” in 2012 and had my personal street photography exhibition “Street, Light, Emotion” in 2013. In 2015 I received the “Photographer of the Year – 2015” award by Azerbaijan Photographers Union.

I am also involved in training and mentoring activities and providing photography workshops and seminars in International photography school of Eastern partnership.
