IT – Il tema della nutrizione, tema principale dell’expo identifica  una fotografia globale, una visione generale di tutto cio’ che riguarda l’alimentazione e la cultura dei popoli del mondo, una fotografia assai variegata quanto sorprendente, un’opportunità per imparare e conoscere diversità di gusti e tecniche alimentari spesso cosi’ diverse ma a volte sorprendentemente vicine. Ma oltre la curiosità estetica e alimentare nasce un sentimento ben piu’ estremo e quale il timore, indirizzato alla tutela e la sicurezza dell’ambiente ed  alla disponibilità del cibo per tutti gli abitanti del globo. Ed è per questo motivo che durante EXPO 2015 attraverso all’arte della fotografia, che tra le proposte della visitor experience, risulta il media che meglio interpreta la visione e la finalità dell’Esposizione in quanto fissa e memorizza gli svariati aspetti dal reportage antropologico, ma non solo una visione precisa  e dettagliata della natura attrverso il mezzo delll’arte.

 

Sono molti e diversi  gli eventi dedicati alla fotografia di Expo 2015 dell’Area tematica “Arts & Foods dalla Triennale di Milano fino ad arrivare a numerosi Festival e iniziative sia italiane che europee, coordinate da  realtà molto importanti per il mondo della fotografia quali Magnum Photos e Contrasto,  orgogliose e liete di portare la grande fotografia a Expo Milano 2015. La collaborazione delle due realtà, avviata fin dall’inizio del 2014 e portata avanti con estremo entusiasmo, ha dato vita e forma ad un progetto importante con l’apporto artistico di importanti fotografi contemporanei, i quali in maniera singolare si sono impegnati a realizzare immagini su svariati temi temi culturali delineando le particolarità antropologiche. Realizzate in tutto il mondo, dalle Isole Oceaniche all’Asia, all’Africa, all’Europa,  con il duro lavoro di di fotografi impegnati quali, Gianni Berengo Gardin, Irene Kung, Joel Meyerowitz, Martin Parr, Alessandra Sanguinetti, Ferdinando Scianna, George Steinmetz, e Alex Webb, diventano un opportunità per mettere al centro della manifestazione la grande fotografia d’autore, com è nella migliore tradizione di Magnum Photos. Le mostre fotografiche a tema  si basa su nove autori della fotografia contemporanea. Soggetti alimentari target della manifestazione: Cacao, Caffè, Cereali-Tuberi, Frutta – Legumi, Isole Oceaniche, Biomediterraneo, Riso, Spezie, Zone aride, a ciascun soggetto sarà dedicata un esibizione fotografica che guiderà l’utente verso la conoscenza delle tecniche di coltivazione e il lavoro dell’uomo, tecniche che gli consentono di produrre quel cibo necessario alla nutrizione ed alla vita.  Argomenti :

Riso.  Terre di Riso: la Pianura Padana e altre piantagioni di riso immortalate dagli scatti dell’italiano Gianni Berengo Gardin, maestro della fotografia internazionale, che ha indagato per anni la coltura e la raccolta del riso, dalle valli del Piemonte e della Lombardia alla Cina e alla Francia.

Cereali – Tuberi: la varietà delle diverse specie di Pane del mondo immortalate dall’americano Joel Meyerowitz con delle installazioni prodotte appositamente.

Caffè: il grande fotografo brasiliano Sebastião Salgado, ha lavorato negli ultimi dieci anni fotografando la coltivazione, la raccolta, l’essiccamento, la selezione e il trasporto del caffè, in vari paesi del mondo, con un racconto lirico ed epico degli uomini e delle donne che lo producono.

Biomediterraneo: la cultura, la storia, il paesaggio illustrati attraverso le fotografie di Ferdinando Scianna, fotografo italiano di Magnum che del racconto del Mediterraneo ha fatto oggetto della ricerca artistica di tutta la sua vita, a partire dalle sue origini siciliane ed esplorando altri paesi per documentare la cultura, la vita e i riti che la accompagnano.

Spezie. La Via delle Spezie: l’americano Alex Webb, membro di Magnum e sognante interprete della fotografia di viaggio e uno degli autori più in vista del National Geographic, racconterà la grande varietà selle spezie attraverso un itinerario che lo porterà a ripercorrere l’antica Via delle Spezie e i mercati dell’Asia.
